We talk about how Dead In 5 came up with their name and how the ethos of living every day to the fullest is broadcast loud and clear through their music. Having recently won best rock band in the Detroit Music Awards, we chat about what that means for the band. 

Our conversation checks in with how the Dead In 5 have been coping with the pandemic. With the focus off of shows, they have been doubling down on writing and recording new music. Questions about songwriting, hair styles, and first records were asked and answered. We even heard about encounters with Don Knot’s nephew and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
