Market Close 22 Apr 21: ASX 200 enjoys best daily gains in a fortnight

Local shares built on a shaky start to close well higher on Thursday. The ASX 200 added 58pts or 0.8% as it enjoyed its best daily improvement in 2 weeks. Improvements were broad with nearly all sectors lifting. Investors remained busy with another busy day of company quarterly or business updates.
