Chargers @ Dolphins Preview! Is This the End of the Line?

The 1-4 Miami Dolphins host the 3-2 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. One week ago, some Dolphins fans had their heads in the clouds thinking this would present their football team with a chance to get to .500 with a victory over a top tier team. Instead, the Dolphins suffered a humiliating collapse in Carolina and now return home to lick their wounds against an injury-riddled Chargers team that has lost two straight.

We learned this week that Mike McDaniel's seat is finally warming up – owner Stephen Ross has expressed his frustration and stated that an embarrassing showing at home or a home crowd turning on the team might force his hand on making institutional changes. Ironically, it's a head coach in Jim Harbaugh that Ross reportedly wanted who is coming to town with an opportunity to deliver the coup de grace.
