The Universe Revolves Around Her poem

The universe revolves around her,

Or so she thinks, her orbit's wide.

Pretty facade, the stars surround her,

But never shine on what's inside.

 

She lines her vast celestial temple,

With roses and the finest wine.

Replete within a vast convergence,

All from her own crafty design.

 

But fear is stalking waking hours,

Consuming of both time and space.

And in her mirror, each new dawning,

More aging lines that won't erase.
