Our Classics and Recommended film is 1988's anime masterpiece Akira; the Hidden Gem is the Iron Giant which became a family favourite but was hardly seen on its theatrical release; the One That Got Away is the story of how A Princess Of Mars nearly became the first ever animated feature film; the Remake Hatewatch is of the execrable 1992 version of Tom and Jerry; and we also have a Remake Restoration where we suggest a film that needs a remake because it didn't work as well as it could have.
