Once again, a beautiful TGIAF today as we get closer to the weekend and the end of August sadly soon too. But Father Anthony reminds all of our loyal listeners and patrons/visitors/guests of St Stans itself, is offereing Friday, tomorrow during the afternoon and evenings, Prayer For Peace Services for those who are suffering and being killed in Iraq, sponsored by the Office of Peace and Justice for the Archdiocese
of Chicago and Father Fawaz Kako, who was on the show Tuesday, will hold services. Father Anthony also starts of the show talking about the services that will be held tomorrow and more on the holocaust going on in the Middle East, including some sayings/writings from one who suffered during the Holocaust during World War II, as well as others who suffered and are suffering. Father Anthony, Christina, and Tony all try to come up with solutions, as well as voice their feelings on what is going on, as well as encourage that something must be done and/or said in this, which seems very little has been done. After the first break, Father Anthony talks about Pope Francis and what he pointed out is or suggested that is most sinful in the Church, some of it with what is going on in culture perhaps too, such as gossip, with results like divisions and humility, with Christina and Tony pointing out much on this. Towards the end of the show, Father Anthony talks about today's and yesterday's Feast Days, being related by day and family, The Feasts of St Monica and St. Augustine.
