Ep. 68: Giants of the Sea: Humpbacks and Blue Whales

This week we look into the largest animals on the planet, baleen whales.  We learn all about these magnificent creatures and what makes them different than toothed whales.  We also go a little more in depth into two species, the humpback and the blue whale.  Humpbacks are known for whale watching and producing the most intricate songs of any animal.  Blue whales are known for being the largest animals to have ever existed.  They can get to 90+ feet long and weigh around 300,000lbs.  We also share two stories of whales capsizing boats.
