Morning Report 1 Feb 19: Tech stocks surge on earnings

While the US sharemarket is mixed today, technology stocks are pushing the Nasdaq higher by more than 1%. Solid results from Facebook and Apple this week are helping while Amazon is lifting ahead of its earnings due after market close.
