Jesus gets to the other side of the sea and encounters someone described as having an "unclean" spirit. Right away many contemporary readers feel like they are forced to choose between two worldviews: scientific therapeutic or Christian mythological. Many contemporary translations don't help. Why describe the spirit as "unclean"? Is this just a made up story?
