Part 1 - Ahead of today’s Territorial Address, Neville James dedicates the show to address the disturbing COVID-19 data that is continuing to come out of the Territory. Dwanye Henry, Chief Legal Counsel for the Department of Health, calls in to share his perspective, commending the Commissioner and the Department of Health for their work in planning, which began in February despite the lack of a national policy and President Trump’s denial, and in preparing for the anticipated spikes we would witness in reopening our doors. In referencing Dr. Tai Hunte-Caesar’s passionate plea to halt the reckless and negligent behavior that is endangering our elderly community, he calls on the public to take responsibility in protecting against community spread, particularly on St. Thomas where density is concerning factor.
