Gloria Coulston, Executive Director at the Braille Institute - Orange County.  Originally from the beautiful state of Maine, Gloria received her Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Human Resource and Development; as well as a Business Degree from the University of Southern Maine.  She has worked as a Community Education Director for the Gorham Center for Volunteers and Community Education, as Director for Dunedin Assisted Living and as an Undergraduate Specialist and Assistant to the Chair at the University of California Irvine.
She began her work at Braille Institute in 2008 as Field Services Manager and then Assistant Director in 2010, becoming Executive Director in spring of 2014.  Gloria has a personal appreciation for Braille Institute as both her children were born legally blind and have utilized Braille Institute’s services since 1999.  Gloria uses her personal experiences raising her children, education and having an understanding of the “senior” population to spread the word about Braille Institute’s free services.
