Market Close 17 Mar 22: ASX 200 records back-to-back 1% gains

The Australian sharemarket rose by 1.05% on Thursday, hitting a one-month high in the process. Nine of 11 sectors improved. Interest rates were raised in the US for the first time in three years, while the unemployment rate in Australia fell to a 14-year low of 4%.
