In Episode 5, I’m going to discuss Matthew 5:48, where Jesus commanded His disciples, “Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.” How does the context surrounding that verse help us understand what Jesus meant? I’ll also look at how modern teachers have used the hyper grace message to disregard this command of Jesus, and finally how the earliest Christians embraced Jesus’ teaching on this matter.
