Pondering the Gifts of the Magi

An Epiphany homily, by Father Darrin Connall: Mary pondered the gifts of the Magi and considered what they revealed about her Son – gold for his kingly dignity, frankincense for his priestly character, and myrrh for his death on the Cross. Following Mary’s example, we, too, are called to ponder the gold, frankincense, and myrrh of our own lives as we grow in holiness.
