The readings for this week for the Day of Pentecost are Acts 2:1-21, or Genesis 11:1-9, Psalm 104:24-34, 35b, Romans 8:14-17, or Acts 2:1-21, and John 14:8-17, (25-27).  This week we look at chemical reactions.  We are most familiar with how water is a great solvent and is able to dissolve many things that we run across.  Yet, there are reactions that water is a major part of that are able to precipitate something more valuable based on what is in the water.  We often like to limit God and we can see that the disciples are trying to do the same thing here and are missing the true power of what the Holy Spirit was about to bring.  I honestly think we still miss how amazing the Holy Spirit really is still today.  Thanks again for taking the t...
