Market Close 4 Mar 19: Market continues run of gains on renewed trade hopes

The Aussie market is off to an impressive start to the week, with the ASX 200 lifting for a fourth straight session by 24 points or 0.4% to 6217. Markets have been boosted by media reports that the US and China are close to a trade deal. The IT, consumer and health sectors were the most improved while gold miners and other defensive names were weaker.
