Morning Report 6 Oct 20: US sharemarkets rose on Monday

Shares jumped after US President Donald Trump said that he will be discharged from hospital on Monday evening after being treated for COVID-19. The Dow Jones index rose by 465 points or 1.7%. The S&P500 index gained 1.8% and the Nasdaq index climbed 257 points or 2.3%.
