Mid-Session 17 Mar 22: Aussie market hits one-month high

The Australian sharemarket is up by more than 1% thanks to gains across most sectors. The US central bank raised interest rates for the first time in more than three years this morning and flagged an additional six hikes in 2022. Close to 80,000 jobs were added in Australia last month with the unemployment rate improving to 4%.
