EU wide exchange of cross border traffic offenders due – European Parliament

Drivers who commit traffic offences in one EU country will be tracked and penalised in their own country in the future. The European Parliament is this week set to pass a new EU law that will enable EU countries to exchange vehicle registration data to ensure traffic offenders are punished. The Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune – who is on the European Parliament’s transport committee explains.
