MEPs to debate efforts to eliminate violence against women

The European Parliament will hold a debate this morning on how to tackle violence against women.

 

It comes on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

 

Figures show that domestic violence cases have soared across Europe since COVID-19 lockdown measures started.
