River City Church - Smyrna, GA
Religion & Spirituality:Christianity
On this Creative Sunday, Mariah, our Service Coordinator, shares a message about spiritual formation as a creative process. God is a creator. He made us to co-create with Him. We see His creativity in the creation story and in the specifics of the Tabernacle construction in Exodus. Through the Holy Spirit, God continues to create a dwelling place within our own hearts, and we continue to have roles as co-creators as we step into the tools provided through spiritual practices like sabbath, silence and solitude, and others. Genesis 1:1, 12, 27; Genesis 2:19-20; Exodus 35:5, 10, 22, 30-35; Psalm 51:10; Ephesians 2:19-22.
