Episode 33: Matt Imus | Connor Imus. Raising a son. Losing an angel.

My guest today is Matt Imus, a high school friend of about 35 years. On May 5, 2019 his 17 year-old son Connor drowned while attempting to save his dog who ended up in a canal in their western Colorado town of Montrose. Connor was truly an angel to his parents, siblings and community. Matt shares with me the heart-wrenching story no parent ever wants to share. Losing a child. Connor was every parent's dream. Excelled in sports, academics. Obedient and most of all a kind-hearted Christ-like young man whose dreams were cut short but whose impact on the world will be felt forever.
