Wake Up Tri-Counties Ameren Lineman Competing at International Lineman Rodeo

Craig Gilson is the vice president of Electric Operations for Ameren Illinois. And, for a significant part of his career at Ameren, he's been part of the organization sending lineman to the International Lineman's Rodeo in Overland, Kansas. Each year, lineman compete in events that demonstrate skill and safety, as they compete in timed events that also demonstrate skills that underline doing their job quickly but with safety first. More than 200 Ameren Linemen will be taking part in the Lineman's Rodeo in 2023 and Craig spoke with WKEI on Wednesday morning about what makes the Lineman's Rodeo so unique.
