When the late Joe Sisul showed his wife, Kit, their newly purchased farm property on North Holly Street in 1957, she started crying. They were not tears of joy. But Joe promised her he would one day make it beautiful, and he kept his promise. He eventually turned the 10-acre farm into Frontier Golf Course, which became a destination course particularly in the '80s and '90s, known as much for its picturesque greens as it was for its challenging design.
On today's episode, we chat with Terri Gesik, one of the new owners of Frontier. She and her husband, Chris, are passionate about the course and continuing the legacy Joe and Kit Sisul first began over 60 years ago. They're also looking to add to Frontier's lore with a few quirks of their own.
