Episode # 854 - The Feast Of St Katherine Drexel

The beginning of March is upon us and the first full week of March is upon us, leading to several things such as Lent and Easter.  Everyone agrees that their weekends were too fast, not enough time, such as Father Loya turned 60 years old with a surprise Birthday Party last Friday for him.  Since that is the main focus at the start of the show, everyone shares how their weekends were, either restful or stressful.  Father Anthony talks about the Kennedy's mainly due to the recent Gospel reading on Sunday Mass, as well as an article he downloaded recently about keeping God at the center of your life and keep yourself in joy, result is that sleep helps in this if we/you want to live a long life.  Today is the Feast of St Katherine Drexel and that history is shared, a very interesting and influential woman in helping the poor and others, with many moments of heroism.  Also leading to other historical moments as well, some not so happy, helpful, and influential as others mentioned for this feast day.  With this story in mind about St Katherine Drexel, Father Anthony talks about what all saints have in common, even though they each had different missions/tasks brought forth to them.  The answer, is to bring Jesus to life for us, dealing with what our needs/things are.
