Hello and welcome to the Coffee with your Therapist Podcast, the podcast where we talk with people, who have an interest in Mental Health, about their careers, their work, and the music they like, all in 20 minutes.

This episode we talk to Peter Hynes, Freelance Columnist with the Irish Independent, Dairy Farm Manager and Advocate for Mental Health. Peter is also an Ambassador for Irish Rugby’s “Tackle your feelings” campaign.

We had a great talk with Peter about working as a Farmer and the impact on Mental Health and how it should be managed.

With the wettest Winter in a long time the Farmers have to put in long hours to manage their livestock. Peter gives advice to everyone on how best to manage their Mental Health in a pressurized life, and gives an good example of what himself and his wife are doing.

Peter is a very empathetic and pragmatic person and takes a great interest in his family, his farming and his community. He has something to say that will benefit everyone.
