US Close 18 Apr 19: S&P 500 held back by healthcare stocks

The US sharemarket was quiet last night ahead of the Easter break. The S&P 500 underperformed, easing by just 0.25% due to healthcare stocks. Concerns remain about potential policy reform in the sector. Earnings results were mixed overnight. The Aussie market is set for a slightly better start ahead of a four day long weekend.
