Mid-Session 23 Jan 20: ASX falls on unexpected jobs numbers

The ASX 200 has fallen to session lows following the surprise drop in the unemployment rate to 5.1%. The benchmark index is down 50pts or 0.7% at lunch with expectations lowered for an interest rate cut when the RBA meets in Feb. Energy and industrial names are leading the declines.
