Morning Report 17 June 19: US shares fall as tech stocks weigh

US sharemarkets fell on Friday with the NASDAQ underperforming. Chipmaker Broadcom fell 5.6% after cutting its revenue forecast due partly to the US-China trade war. The Dow Jones index closed lower by 17 points or 0.1%. and the Nasdaq lost 40 points or 0.5%. Over the week the Dow rose by 0.4%, the S&P 500 rose by 0.5% and the Nasdaq gained 0.7%.
