Market Close 16 September 2019: Surging oil prices keep ASX 200 in positive territory

Aussie shares eked out the smallest of improvements on Monday, with the ASX 200 index up by 4.3pts or 0.06 per cent to 6673.5 thanks to strong gains from energy, gold and infant formula stocks. This extends the market’s winning streak to four consecutive sessions.
