Welcome to the Progress NOT Perfection Podcast! Our verse of the week is Ezekiel 36:26, which talks about God giving us a new heart and spirit, removing our stony and stubborn heart, and replacing it with a tender and responsive one. As we read this verse, we realize the need for a change in ourselves, especially in our selfish tendencies.
We all strive to be compassionate and selfless individuals who prioritize others' needs before our own. However, we often fall short of our expectations. We must make it a priority to have a tender and responsive heart that exudes God's love in everything we do.
It's hard to acknowledge how much work we need in this area, but when we read verses like this, the word comes to life, and we realize we can make a difference if we allow God to work through us. We need to pray every morning to remind ourselves of the person we want to be, the kind of person that others see and know that we are a Christian, a woman or man of God, and that we pour out the love He has given us to everyone we encounter.
Join us on the Progress NOT Perfection Podcast as we aim to become better versions of ourselves, one step at a time, relying on God's grace and guidance.
