Market Close 20 Dec 16: ASX 200 briefly trades above 5,600

The ASX 200 has finished stronger for a second straight session. After briefly trading above 5,600 points for the first time since 1 August, the ASX 200 finished up 29 points or 0.5% to 5,591.
