1Co 1:23  But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness.  Wherever Jesus went, whatever he did, he left behind conflict and confusion. He turned everything upside down. Until Jesus has deeply troubled you, until Jesus is a stone of stumbling to you, you haven't really touched the heart of the gospel. The gospel is offensive, it troubles me, it upsets me.
