Motivational Monday - Why Watching my Baby Girl Grow Up is One of My Greatest Joy!!!

On today's episode, I had to come to y'all with something that touched my heart this weekend. My baby girl just turned 17, and man, I'm feeling all kinds of emotions about it. Join me as I talk about what it means to watch your daughter grow up right before your eyes. We're talking about the bittersweet beauty of seeing her develop into her own person - from deciding to loc her hair,  to taking pride in her skincare routine, and just becoming this amazing young woman.

I know I'm not the only parent out there feeling this way, especially my fellow girl dads who understand that protective instinct that never goes away. We want our kids to experience all the beautiful things life has to offer - prom, college, driving, all those teenage milestones - but we also know the world can be challenging, especially for our daughters. I'm sharing my heart about wanting her to grow while simultaneously wishing I could keep her little forever.

This isn't just about my daughter though, fam. This is about all our kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids - watching the next generation step into their power while we learn to love them enough to let them spread their wings. It's about finding joy in their happiness, even when it means they're growing away from us.
