S01 E14 - Ironsworn: Starforged - Darkness My Old Friend

Welcome back to One Guy One Roll, the solo RPG podcast where I am currently playing Ironsworn: Starforged. As a warning, there are spoilers ahead as I recap episode 14, if you wish to avoid them, just skip the rest of this paragraph! Our episode begins with falling through endless darkness as Nikora has run out of oxygen. Luckily, Nikora returned to the reactor core of the Prosperity and rescued Petra who is Nikora's only hope for survival and returning to the Second Chance alive. Back aboard the Second Chance, Petra get the privilege of attempting to deal with Chance, the obstinate VI aboard. Finally revived and ready to go, Nikora leads the way back to the bridge of the Second Chance where they end up seeing a major obstacle to their clean retreat from the Prosperity. The episode comes to an end with Nikora having to make the controversial decision to blind jump into the Drift.... with a 27% chance of a catastrophic failure.
