Prevention of radicalisation key to understanding terrorism – McGuinness

Ways to tackle the radicalisation of EU citizens by terrorist organisations will be tackled in the European Parliament today. There’s heightened security in and around the European Parliament in Strasbourg following the Paris attacks and the security lockdown in Brussels. The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says it’s essential the EU gets to understand why young EU citizens are being drawn to ISIS and radical Islam.
