07 | Myth Busting: Hormonal Birth Control

It’s no secret that I don’t like hormonal birth control and in this episode I’m busing some of the common myths surrounding HBC!

 

Ready to have your mind blown? Here are the myths I’m discussing:

• the pill regulates your period
• the hormones in HBC are identical to our own
• HBC preserves fertility or delays menopause
• HBC heals period problems (this one I could scream from the rooftops about)
• hormones test normal on HBC
• you can quit HBC cold turkey
• HBC regulates mental health
