It is God’s burden for man to be a conduit for the realities of the unseen realm––the heavens. From God’s perspective, His work in the redemptive process is the recovery of His fallen image in man. God’s initial plan with a man was for him to be an image-bearer of the invisible realm. Nothing in that plan has changed.
