Mid-Session 16 Jun 22: Aussie shares lift despite massive US rate hike

The Australian sharemarket is edging higher so far today, following a closely watched and expected 75bp rate hike by the US Federal Reserve. While this marks the largest US rate hike since 1994, investors had been preparing for the move in recent days.
