The hit medical mystery drama show Crossing Jordan and the rather silly escapism filled Las Vegas were apparently one giant franchise for NBC back in the '00s. Dina returns to help me sum it up as part of International Women's Day month!

Does Crossing Jordan stand out to genre fans or is it just leftovers from better material like Homicide, Profiler and CSI? Was its material done far better later on similar shows like Bones and The Closer? How many hallucinations and out-of-body experiences can one take and still be entertained without being depressed? Should it had crossed over with the other Boston set show Rizzoli and Isles years later?

Does Las Vegas manage to be smarter than the average bear due to being marketed to the lowest common denominator but actually treating its female leads with respect and having enough A-Team/Dallas type action for the guys?
