The Underdark has captured the minds of gamers since the early days of the hobby, it’s almost a rite of passage for DMs and players alike.  Every gamer’s bucket list has slaying a dragon, taking a ride on a Spelljammer, and journeying to the Underdark.  But how do you do the setting justice?  How do you make it memorable?

• It’s always dark

• There’s nothing green in the Underdark

• It’s a confined area, all the time

• It’s always dangerous, but add new dangers with the old

• The environment is alien to surface dwelling characters

(No sun, no weather, the language is different, the gods worshiped are different)
