It's ironic. Our supposedly "tolerant" and "non-judgmental" culture is oftentimes rabidly critical and judgmental itself. From social media platforms to the classroom, those of us who believe in moral absolutes are routinely met with mockery, ridicule, and even abuse. Maybe it's a good time to take a closer look at what Catholics really believe about judgment, and why it's actually something Jesus commands us to do!
