We hone in on both the immediate and longer-term support required for the grieving families, displaced individuals, and impacted businesses, and turn attention to the sustained support and action that will continue to be needed long after the headlines fade. We will that all authorities that have influence will continue to be mindful in the months and years ahead that ongoing support is needed for those who have been displaced and traumatized by the Kerr County flooding, including access to shelter, medical support, employer compassion, schooling for children, food and water, and trauma counselling.
