By day, Maura is the CEO of Backup North West, a charity that helps homeless young people. She started working at Backup in 2012 but has been part of the team since 1997 when she was a support worker. Maura says, “I love what I do, who I do it with, and who I do it for. I can see the difference it’s making to young people who are homeless and to my colleagues. I am proud Backup is part of the Bolton community and helping those most in need.”
