Mid-Session 2 Sep 2021: ASX continues weak start to September

The ASX 200 is down 75pts  ~1% near lunch on Thursday as it continues a weak start to September. The market is predominantly being weighed down by heavyweight names trading ex-dividend. BHP is down 7% and erasing 28 points from the benchmark index alone.
