SkillBites is a book writing and publishing service that helps authors get their books done quickly and conveniently. Judy's focus is on helping business owners and professionals increase their credibility and reputation by using books as a marketing tool to generate more leads, get speaking engagements, and gain media exposure and publicity. 

Judy also discusses her journey to entrepreneurship, which began in 1998 when she started her own law firm. SkillBites was founded in 2012 after Judy struggled to find a good resource to help her write and publish her own book. She realized there was a market for a service that could help business owners and professionals get their expertise out of their heads and onto paper quickly and efficiently. One of the things that came up in Judy's story was how many people are involved in hiring that sometimes we aren't aware of and how powerful it is in book publishing (or other industries) when you hire the right person especially because you tap into their experience and expertise. There are mistakes that can be made and those that can be costly. 

During the interview, Judy shares her CEO Hack, which is using Zoho as her CRM, and her CEO nugget, which is that the more value you can provide to others, the more successful you will be. She defines being a CEO as being a visionary for your organization, a leader, and a team player.
