After the initial announcement of Robert Pattinson donning the cowl back in 2017, there was continuous hype and excitement for Matt Reeves's interpretation of the caped crusader. 5 years later, we finally get The Batman, the neo-noir detective story of a "year 2" Dark Knight who is still learning the ropes of taking on the criminals of Gotham's underbelly.
