In Your Troubles and Trauma, Have You Let Anxiety Replace Your Relationship with Jesus?

MESSAGE SUMMARY: Is Jesus the Lord? Is Jesus Sovereign over the Universe? Does Jesus really care for us? If we will remember what we have been taught about Jesus, it will help us deal with our tough life circumstances: “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus," (Philippians 4:6-7). Remembering Jesus’ Sovereignty and character will help you to know that He will hold your hand and walk along beside you in your trials and tribulations. However, be careful that you don’t drift away from your personal relationship with Jesus in your tough times.

 

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Because of who I am in Jesus Christ, I will not be driven by Hatred. Rather, I will abide in the Lord’s Love. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5).
