Black Market Oxygen- The Peru Project was the winner of the Mary Mulvihill Award in 2021. The piece examines the contrasting situations in Ireland and Peru in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the issue of global vaccine inequity comes under more focus in 2022, it may become clearer to listeners why I felt this was a story people should hear.
