What a pleasant surprise that none other than Bruce Dickinson is scheduled to be doing a spoken word tour. We're sure lots of mainstream Iron Maiden fans are scratching their heads going "Huh? Who wants to pay money just to hear him talk?" The more underground fans already know how fun and interesting these type of shows are, having enjoyed Jello Biafra and Henry Rollins doing them for years now. And we're sure Brucie Boy will have enough stories and words of wisdom to give us our money's worth. So in this spirit we go over some other artists we'd like to see doing the spoken word thing. If Bruce can do it, then certainly Rob Halford could!! In our "News, Views, and Tunes", we discuss the miscarriage of justice it is that early 70s female trailblazing rock band Fanny aren't a household name. Musically, we crank new and used from Exhumed, Striker, Oxygen Destroyer, Mortuary (Mex) and the aforementioned Jello with No Means No! Horns Up and Stay Healthy!
